Amego have been selling e-bikes since 2009 and were looking for a way to pinpoint their audience online to begin to build their online community.
Amego was just beginning to build their online presence and did not know how to approach building a community online. Seeing that their typical purchaser's demographics varied, it was proving difficult to pin point what their ideal consumer looked like.
Instead of building out audience personas from what we believed was their typical consumer, we decided to utilize their untouched data from their POS system to help build their online community; data fell under CASL compliance. The list of information allowed us to approach their digital plan with accuracy and relevancy, from attracting new consumers with Facebook's look-a-like technology to retaining previous customers by connecting one-on-one with a content driven email marketing plan.
